BOSWORTH & SOUTHAM – NOTES ON A DUET (SIGNED)

This catalogue, which accompanies the FPG exhibition A Duet on the Apple Blossom, contains images from the collaboration between Barbara Bosworth and Jem Southam. During this project each artist spent a year photographing an apple tree in their respective ‘backyards.’ Bosworth lives in Massachusetts, USA, and Southam is based in Devon, England. In 2024, the Dust Collective published a selection of these images in a limited edition book titled Duet on the Apple Blossom.

The photographs in this catalogue, many of which have not been published before, are accompanied by two texts and a conversation between the artists. This conversation explores their individual practices, the genesis of the project, and the nature of their collaboration.
